How many of you guys have traditional muck cleaning rituals you have developed into superstitious habits.
Like retying your shoes after each shot and such.
Do you always scrape when you swab between shots? Scrape when you completely clean the gun?
Pick the vent before charging the next load? With a feather?
Which of you use the co2 thingy to clear the charge frum yer flinter?
Ad infinitum..........

One that is done by a few people still (even by me once) is to blow down the barrel...

A cleaning ritual I have is to work my way down, start at the top and clean all the way to the bottom...

And don't forget to clean your ramrod too... (often over-looked)
