Traditional Sight for Investarms Hawken Needed

I had the same problem with my Cabelas rifle. I simply sound a sight that I liked (CVA Mountian Rifle). I then put the screws in the barrel with out the sight and carefully used a file to bring everything down flush with the barrel (Plugs). I then took measurements and cut a dovetail on the barrel across where the front screw was. The second screw is covered by the sight. I used a little cold blue on the screw plug. Looks great and I like the sight. I chose the European dovetail sight because I did not have to remove as much material from the barrel.
