This seems to be the vogue for such rifles these days. First it was zip-gun style or modified bolt action. Now it's a hinged breech. I kind of wonder on these if they don't violate the exposed ignition rule? If so, that's great. They'll have to use the regular hunting seasons.
As to style, I suppose it's post-modern? Just looked at the Traditions site and it must be the Yukon model. It looks like the block actually falls to the right hand side rather than drops straight down. Kind of like a Snyder conversion or one of those Belgian shotguns out of Africa. The US suggested retail price is only $165, so maybe your deal isn't that rich. Anyway, I doubt you get a lot of quality at that price. Something to think about, besides the design.
