Okay so browning turned more into antiquing but I think it ended up looking good. It was a lot of weird things with them chemicals but I did what I could and just went with it. Probably never seen a Crockett like this before šŸ˜‚ but I filed off all the markings on the barrel, I hated that Digital etching, also didnā€™t like the case hard look on the lock. Stripped and stained the stock, wish it was a little darker but I can always mess with it or let it go we will see. Polished the lock internals and also changed the ramrod holders from the black steel to tarnish brass ones I had laying around. All and all Iā€™m pleased with the way it turned out. Just looks like a used worn Hawkins and I think thatā€™s how it should look
