Stock only for a Traditions cap lock. Almost any condition, I want to cut it down to young man size for my 10 yr old grandson. I have a Traditions Pennsylvania with a 1/66 twist that shoots .490 prb great. I do not want to cut down the existing stock, it is too nice. Looking for a reasonable wood stock that I can shorten. It has a octagon 7/8” barrel, but I am flexible, and can adapt others.

That might be hard to find. Keep an eye on Ebay. CVA guns are similar, don't know if you could use one of those stocks?
You could probably pick up a used Traditions deerhunter rifle for cheap for your grandson. Those shoot pretty good.

I believe I have one, let me look around and I will shoot you a PM

Update - I do have a butt stock, for a Kentucky rifle by CVA but it is already hacked up and not usable. Sorry

There's 2 Traditions Hawkin stocks listed on ebay now. One of them has all the metal parts, lock, trigger assembly, etc. The other just the bare stock.
