Traditions Tennessee Flintlock

Does anyone have the Traditions Tennessee Flintlock? Hows the quality?
Been thinking about a purchase.
Still not decided.

Looked at one today looks ok has the small tang like most traditions has a star inlet on the cheek piece every thing seemed smooth lock&trigger ,but I think it is overpriced. Midsouth may have best price. Shifty

My first rifled flintlock!!"all my others are smoothbore"

Its a nice solid well put together little gun..

The lock "on mine anyways" is fast and gives very good ignition

I refinished the stock on mine.. and must say I am pleased with the purchase.

82nd, I had a shennandoah .50 flint....I really liked it..whaT IS THE TWIST ON THE TENNESSEE?
I like the looks and the 2 wedges!!
the Shennandoah was pinned.

The twist is 1 in 66.
I went ahead and ordered it from dixie yesterday.
It was $332.00
Ill post some pictures when I get it.
I like the wedges also.
I found a pistol to go with it at the possible shop. Traditions Kentucky Pistol 50 cal. Flintlock.It was $197.00. There the only place that had the pistol in Flint. Only place I could find.

the pistol you ordered with the rifle is also a good gun. I have it in .45 and also flintlock. The lock sparks very well and the pistol is a straight shooter.

Not sure what size it takes.

very nice pair of guns. Did you have tested the lock? How is the timing and sparking?

My Deerhunter hasn't arrieved yet. When I have it I'll post pics, too.

The rifle fires perfect. Easy to clean and maintain.
Not fired the pistol yet.
Only thing I didnt like was the fiberglass ramrod.
Changed it out for a wooden rod.
Fit and finish are very good to.

I didn't like the Deerhunter's plastic ramrod, too and will replace it. Out of the box it shoots a bit low with 90 grs PP, but good accuracy.

I just pulled the tips off the plastic one and installed them on a wood rod.
