i was thinking of buying one of these little rifle
in percussion or flint has anybody had any experience with these? thank you guys

I suspect they shoot OK, but I sure wish they had picked a different marketing name for these things. They absolutely look nothing like a real Tennessee Rifle. They just look like a chopped off run-of-the-mill reproduction long rifle.

I have one that I "inherited" from my wife. Besides its ungainly appearance, it has a very reliable lock and is accurate. I have found it is not fussy about loading. I use a .490" RB with a .015" patch. Powder charges from 65-80 grns Goex 3F. It is not my style as I prefer larger, heavier caliber weapons. I'm saving it for my grandson to use as his first BP rifle.
