This ad is for a transitional style rifle based off a Track of the Wolf Edward Marshall kit which needs a little TLC. I had the barrel of this rifle rebored to .62 caliber, and ever since I've had it rebored the pins and locks bolts haven't lined up exactly right. I have decided to sell it as is in order to make room and funds for other projects.
The rifle has a .62 Colerain Edward Marshall Barrel in D profile which has been shortened to 36 inches, the stock is walnut and has some carving and a sterling silver diamond wrist inlay. The rifle also has a Bucks County style patch box which could possibly be replaced with a more appropriate sliding wood patch box. The lock is an R. E. Davis Jaeger style lock. The ramrod pipes are Pistor Jaeger rifle pipes from The Rifle Shoppe. This rifle also has sling swivels, and a stainless steel White Lightnin touch hole liner. The rifle weighs right at 9 pounds, and is 52 inches overall, with a 13 inch LOP. The price is $1,300 plus shipping in the continental US.

Feel free to contact me with any questions!

Thanks!

Just wanted to add a few more details about the rifle. 3/4 of an inch was removed from the muzzle end of the barrel. The reason for this is that the original barrel length extended past the nose cap significantly, and I thought since I was having it shortened, making it 3/4 of an inch shorter would make it look more like a German jaeger rifle. There is plenty of meat on the nosecap to grind it down flush with the muzzle to fix that Habsburg jaw that it has now. I think that the barrel got slightly out of shape when it was being shipped back to me. The barrel is rifled with square bottomed grooves. There is no problem with the patchbox, I though there was, but I think the screw which holds the latch spring was just loose.

Thanks!
