I have a flint lock that I am trying to get some repair parts for . I need a trigger plate because the one on my rifle was drilled wrong -it came out on the edge of the plate and the tang screw hole was drilled twice and the intersect each other, Also looking for some good fints to fit the rifle which is a 45 caliber. any help would be great. mudd turtle.

I hang all my triggers in the wood. My trigger plates are nothing more than somewhere to screw the tang bolt into.

Mike. sorry-didnt explain myself very well there. When hanging the trigger in the wood, where is the best place for the trigger plate to touch the lock ie closer to the trigger pin or as far back as poss or in the middle. Or put another way how do I determin where to drill the trigger pin please. Thanks JM
