Triple Dog Dare Contest (2011) Update;
To date, I have a vague few entries via the posts in this thread, but nobody has PT'd me their scores for me to forward to Oldpagan. The contest ends Jan 1st, but I will continue to take submissions (from 2011) until the end of January before locking it down.
Let's get those PTs coming, and now that summer is here and ranges are open all over the country, let's get busy and burn some powder...and hook a new member to our sport!

We are taking a 16 year old young man to the Old Northwest this year. It's his 1st camp. He will be shooting bow, rifle, trade gun, throwing knife & hawk for the 1st time. He's currently making some mocs & leggings and hoping to get em done before we leave.

Is there points in this for me? :hmm:

3 neighbors all bought guns,two of thm bought 2 apiece one bought 1. 1 son in law bought 3 guns and one friend bought 1 gun!

After this episode they all had to learn flintlocks. That light weight little flintlock Deerhunter rifle was just perfect.

Get another person involved in ML/BP shooting in 2011.
Here's how it works:
**100 points for each new BP shooter introduced to the sport
**An extra 50 points for each of those shooters who take the bait and buys a gun
**An extra 10 points per additional gun purchased in the calendar year 2011 by that person
**An additional 25 points if that shooter becomes a contributing member on this forum.

One thing I need to mention;
Points are only valid from 1/1/11 through 12/31/11.
I introduced two guys last fall, but it was before the 1/1/11 contest start date.

I got two co-workers last fall, but that doesnt count. So far this year, I have three. Two are a friend I used to work with and his son, and the other is another friend who expressed an interest. The down side is, none of them have bought guns so far, but all said they're going to and want to shoot mine in the meantime.
