trying to find a nice mold

I have a 54 gph and i am trying to find out if rapine makes a bag mold in 530 or 535. I really like that rapine molds alot and really don't want to have to settle for nothing less. I mainly like the look of it if anyone else out there makes a similar styled mold i would like to know aswell. thanks in advance for the rplies.

I have a .445 Rapine bag mold for my .45 GPR. I think Rapine makes bag molds in nearly every cal. When I read right you have a GPH, so it shoots best with conicals, but you are searching for a roundball mold I guess ?

 

not the great plains it is a 1 in 60 barrel.

I just talked to a friend of mine and he said he just got his Rapine bag mould for his .54 cal yesterday. Said it took him 3 months to get it because of some manufacturer problems, but they do make them.

You may want to check further with some of the pards on the forum here about shooting roundballs
in the Great Plains Hunter. It has a 1 in 32 fast twist rate for shooting bullets, (sabots and conicals).
The Great Plains Rifle is made for roundballs and has a 1 in 60 twist rate. I have a Lyman but not a Hunter series, so I can't speak first hand. Just don't want you to waste your money on something that might not work. Good Luck.

That's what I was try to explain, when asking if he really wants a RP-mold.
But it is possible to use RB's in a fast twist barrel when so loads are not to high. So with 50 grs of PP or FFg it will work for targetshooting. For hunting it is a bit weak. Have to work it out by stepwise growing loads. My .45 GPR has the 1in 60''twist. It shoots one hole groups at 50 m with PRB. Maxiballs will work too, but I didn't have tested them until now.

 

sorry i fat fingre that it was suppose to read GPR not GPH. i made sure it was 1 in 60 as i only shoot roundballs. sorry for the confusion and coming off sounding like a smart ass, that was not my intention. i am very happy with the rifle and can anyone tell me how to contact rapine i cannot seem to find it on the internet.
