Beautiful. I really like the double wedge for the half stock. Just a bit more secure for accuracy and strength. Quite elegant, and while I am not familiar with what a tryon actually is, it is easy to see why you would want one. More details for the ignorant ?

Congratulations. I bought one a few months ago, and I’m impressed with the quality of the Pedersoli replica. Fit and finish is quite high for a production rifle. The wood has some nice figure, and the case hardened furniture looks right. I’ll be building mine out as a Civil war era cased target rifle. I’m sure you’ll have fun with yours.
