Who assembled the Tuned (with roller frizzen)
Siler flintlocks. It has a fish symbol stamped inside the plate. Lock need repair hangs up at half cock when fired sometimes.
 
Sounds like you just may need a fly. Check to make sure it is still in there. Or, if it is in there, it may not have been hardened propely and wore with use. I had this happen on a lock once. The sear ate the fly up over time. The main job of the fly is to not allow the sear to go into the half cock position once the trigger engages the sear.

That's it. 171 Old Fort rd.Have used a lot of his locks. still shooting one. almost 20 yrs. old.
 
have not tried out of the gun. It does it intermitently anyway no pattern. could it be trigger spring tension or sear touching the lock mortise??
