How do I clean and dry a turkey bone so to make something out of it? Any ideas for crafts? Thanks.

I always save my turkey bones for wing bone calls. The link you posted is a good one. I use an india ink fine-tip pen to decorate them with. I like the give them to hunting buddies and their kids. Great gifts!

Use hydrogen peroxide to whiten the bones, it won't break them down like bleach and it works just as well.

I glue mine together with pine pitch glue.
Here is a pretty good tutorial if you aren't familiar with the process.

I just made two from the Thanksgiving turkey, finishing them up now. One thing I learned: The suggestions to cut the bone with a Dremel tool? Works great. Smells like the worst day at the Dentist I ever had...

Don't laugh but I made a neat little patch knife out of an old Gerber folding saw blade that was bent and a turkey bone. I cut and shaped the bent blade so it looked like an old fashioned straight razor and then inserted it into the bone with some epoxy with a peice of brass hammered flat for a end piece so to speak. I traded it to someone a short time ago.
