I got my first turkey this year a jake 4-3/4' beard but I have sinned :shocking:,it was with a centerfire shotgun at 15 yds i will try to take one with dbl barrel or my fusil here eventully

Congrats on the Tom. Now go out and get one the real way. :: There is just something about getting one with BP. I got my very first wild turkey this year with my Navy Arms double barrel .12 ga. caplock. Hope to be able to get a flintlock smoothbore to use next year.

Congratulations on your first turkey! Getting your first turkey with any gun is a real hurdle. Now that you're over it, you can work on alternate methods of bagging your bird. :front:

Thanks guys! it will probably take me awhile to get one this close again but I'll try to get one in close at least within 25 yds I could take one with my CVA dbl 12ga havn't tried shot out of my fusil yet but I will try it out shortly I'am sure
