Well, tomorrow is the last day of Ky's season and so far I have not fired the flinter at a Tom.
I hunted 4 days, called in 4-5 hens at various times and had gobblers work, but not close enough. Yesterday morning I had 2 gobblers hammering under 75 yards, but hens showed up. Had another coming in gobbling to my calls, but he never showed or said anything after he come 1/2 way, not sure if a coyote got after him or other hens...
Congrats to y'all that harvested a bird!!! and good luck to those still hunting! To those that did not get a bird and season has ended, I'll be having a Bologna cookout coming up!
IT AINT OVER TILL THE FAT LADY SINGS and tomorrow I'll be feeding her crackers to make it last a little longer!
YEEEEEHAAAAA!!!!
Wess
