Weather Man really missed it this morning...rain was supposed to end by 3:00am but I got to my place at 5:45am for a turkey hunt and it was still heavy fog / mist / drizzle.
Either go back home or sit through it and see what the turkeys might do.
Didn’t see or hear a thing...BUT...Ms. Roundball’s Rain Cover kept my baby dry as a bone!

That's a cool cover. I take a different approach, and my babies get wet from time to time.

Outer shell is tight weave "cotton duck"...inner lining is soft OD army blanket.
It just rolls up and doesn't take up much room to have with me on a day when rain / drizzle is possible.

Saturated the outer shell with spray on Kiwi Camp Dry Silicone Spray, one coat a week for 5 weeks.
(Camp Dry is used to restore waterproofing to tents, etc)
