I went out this spring with my three sons (not the TV show) after turkey, but the weather was definitely against us. We dealt with -0 windchills and snow. On the way into work, and taking #2 son to drivers ed, we slowed down to watch a tom in full strut in one of the neighbor's fields. Looked closely and there were several hens right at the wood's edge. Lot's of poor luck due to weather this season. There should be a lot of broods, as long as the weather didn't mess up the breeding season.
