The wife and I saw 3 turkeys in the yard and field yesterday couldnt belive it first we saw any around our home gobbler and 2 hens very cool just wanted to share

it shouldn't be very long and you and the wife should be seein the young turkeys following the hens around. by fall maybe you'll get thanksgiving dinner the old fashion way
 
Hey Hornbuilder I was blessed this spring with my first turkey even though it it was not taken with BP gun I very happy . Next maybe I can take one with a BPgun this fall if time allows and health holds out I will be in the woods up north . :front:
 
I went out this spring with my three sons (not the TV show) after turkey, but the weather was definitely against us. We dealt with -0 windchills and snow. On the way into work, and taking #2 son to drivers ed, we slowed down to watch a tom in full strut in one of the neighbor's fields. Looked closely and there were several hens right at the wood's edge. Lot's of poor luck due to weather this season. There should be a lot of broods, as long as the weather didn't mess up the breeding season.
