My first attempt at turning antler and a black powder pan brush. The antler was from a whitetail and finding a piece straight enough to turn round and not be into the soft center was a challenge. I'd say you need a honking big antler if you wanted to do anything large, or an antler from a different species of deer.

Although it works well at the length the bristles are at, artistically I think I should have made them a little longer.
