Yes they are bob! I have 3 of them: a Walker, a 1860 Army and a 1858 New Model Army. All work fine, and the Walker wins competitions for me most every month. Very pleased with the fit, quality and finish of the Uberti's!

Are you going to buy one or do you have a problem with one that maybe one of us on the forum could straighten-out?

Good shooting!

Dave

I've never owned Uberti but never heard any bad about 'em. Ever now and again somebody cusses Pietta or Euroarms for some reason. I've had good luck with Pietta's myself, owned several '58 Rems., 3 brass frame and the one I have now, steel frame.

I don't have a Uberti C&B but I have two Uberti 1873 Colt's. The only thing that would make me happier with them is if they were the real thing. I think I'd actually prefer them to 3rd generations. I would think Uberti C&B would be the same quality. I do have a Pietta 58 Remmy and am happy with it but only a couple hundred rounds thru it so far.

thanks guys....no don't have one yet....shopping round to spend my money wisely  :v ..............bob

I have an 1860 and a Dragoon from old Aldo & Co. No problems/complaints whatsoever. Quality products. :hatsoff:

Yes, Uberti makes quality cap and ball revolvers - I have three and they are all great.

I will say that my Walker and Dragoon both had loose dovetail mounts- for the loading lever catches - this was very easy to fix by simply tapping the "lips" of the dovetail slightly with a brass hammer and re-installing the catches - now tight.

My 1851 .36 seems to be flawless in all regards.

Uberti makes some of the highest quality guns in their price range. They've been known for good guns for years now. Pietta is catching up fast quality wise though. I still prefer Uberti to any other brand out there.
