Well, Dixie only sells extra cylinders for the Colt 1861 Navy that are made by Pietta.

I've got a Uberti 1861 coming to me.

Would the Pietta cylinder work in the Uberti revolver?

Thanks, Willie, but they don't carry it.

Dixie DOES have Uberti cylinders for the 1851 Navy, so I guess I have to get one of those down the road, which I kinda was expecting.

I know myself too well!

Make a note,
If that `51 cylinder doesn't fit your `61,,

Get ahold of me, I could use an extra cyl for my Uberti `51,

necchi - I knew the way I wrote that was wide open to misinterpretation. I meant that I'll be getting an 1851 Navy PISTOL down the road.

And that day might be just around the corner if I keep looking at pictures of it.

Yeah, me to. I've had the hots for a 51 of late myself but just haven't seen the one I want yet. I've kinda been on a .36 cal kick lately as well since I've acquired my target guns and see how shooter and wallet friendly they are. MD
