Good work! A large part of the fun in building is figuring out how to fix problems and different ways to skin the cat...

There is nothing wrong with Traditions, per se, but I always recommend Lyman GPRs as first kits. They are a bit more expensive, but that little extra buys alot, IMHO.

You did fine; just think of it as a valuable learning experience that you can apply to your next build....and there WILL be one!

I'll bet you can't stop at #1!!! Nice job, hope it shoots as good as it looks. Use it in good health. :hatsoff:
Dusty

Good job , that kit has been made or 40 or 50 years it was'nt always a traditions kit When I got mine it was being marketed by CVA . It's probly been made by a few companies over the years. Anyways your going to find that it shoots great . Mine is in 45 cal a buddy of mine bought it about 35 years ago but never got around to putting it together so he gave it to me. I kinda slapped it together knowing it was'nt a high dollar kit, I was'nt expecting a tack driver but I'll tell ya what it shoots as good as any of the other 12 BP guns that I own . I'll bet you have a great time with yours, just be carefull .
