Heres one thats not real common. Ultra-Hi hawken in .50 caliber. Made in Japan by Miroku back in the ‘70’s. Its new in its original box. Well not new, its about 50 years old, but has never been fired.

Asking $500, good trades considered.

More pictures. Shipping extra. Itd be quite a bit cheaper to ship broken down in a smaller package. But if this is for your collection itd be worth the extra to get the original box.

Whats all the whining about anyway? It seems to me that most, if not all, of the entire modern production of muzzleloading firearms are based on copying someone elses work. In fact builders pride themselves on just how close they can come to being exactly the same.

Watching OUT OF LIBERTY last night and they had what looked like a brand new TC Hawken or maybe that same pristine Miroku.

Although the kawasaki paralelltwin certainly had the British style twin engine and the chassis and tins styling also british, to my eye I thought it looke a bit more Royal enfield , though not an exzct copy . Unmistakenly British looking though .

I forget the exact year but, look at some early 'pre-unit construction' Triumphs and you can find one exactly like I'm talking about. And yes, it does look like a Royal Enfield a lot too.

pre unit triumphs are the ones I am most familiar with and to me the the crank cases are quite distinct compred to other Brit bikes,
I suppose it is in the eye of the beholder!
