Upcoming Shooting Contest

Claude has approved another "unofficial" shooting contest. I'm going to kick it off on 1 Feb, but its a little more complex than the last one so anyone that wants to participate needs to start thinking about it now.

First, you will have to partner up so start thinking about who to partner up with.

Second, its going to be any gun, ie pistol or long gun so start thinking about which type of arm you're going to use as well.

Third, you won't be able to enter late in the contest. Once the contest is started, you'll have six weeks to get signed up with your partner and your first target in. After that no more entries will be accepted. You will end up submitting at least two targets during the course of the contest, possibly more so this isn't a one shot deal.

Contest rules will be published 1 February so stand by.

Maybe my new smooth bore will be finished by then.Id like to give it a try.Maybe not a good choice for a contest since I never shot one,but it would be fun trying.May have to use the 54.cal.

Don't worry, when we say "partner" we mean anybody "out there" in cyber land. Doesn't have to be somebody local.

Going to give it another shot. Didn't make December's shoot as I was cutting up downed trees from that windstorm. Looks like the roads will be good and clear for Saturday and don't see any more weather coming so I won't have any excuses. Maybe I better check my supply of powder and ball.
