UPS Santa came today!

I ordered the Crockett rifle and it was supposed to be here last Friday! Well, for some reason someone in the UPS shipping decided it needed a tour of Oregon and after arriving in Albany, it got sent 500 miles south to Medford, OR. Anyway, after much stress hoping it wasn't going to be damaged after all its travels, it showed up today along with a companion. My Lyman Trade Rifle came today also! Oh goody goody goody! Winter will not be so boring now with a project to complete!

To be honest, I am really impressed with the fit and finish on my Lyman Trade Rifle. Looking forward getting out and shooting it! With prices through the roof these days, my pleasure in how well it is put together, stems from the fact I got it new for under $470!

Yes, fit and finish on my Lyman Trade .54 percussion is excellent. I purchased mine new around 2001. The European walnut stock is very nice.
