WITHDRAWN Used 1853 Enfield stock

I have some old 1853 Enfield Nepalese parts I want to throw on a rifle for display only, but in need of a stock. I need one preferably an old used one, don't have to be perfect, just no rot and cracked all to hell.

Ya know I might just have one laying around somewhere and a box to fit it in. Send me dimensions of your lock because I planned on doing the same thing only I discovered the mortise was mostly off.

If and when you do, it might take me a while to reply because I work an odd schedule.

I FINALLY got my “round tuit” and dug around for that stock.
My apologies for keeping you waiting but it’s a 2 band stock for what I think is an 1858.

I'm just throwing this out there, but the Nepalese parts are different from the British parts. Besides the muskets made with interchangable parts for the British Army, all the BSAT muskets were hand fitted, so no two stocks will fit each other's parts. I assume the Nepalese parts were made under similar circumstances.You won't find a stock that fits your parts without reinletting. If that's the case, a repro stock with your parts inletted be the easiest route. Just age the stock to match the parts.
