Can I use untreated wallnutt media for polishing rifle brass as dye for cloths,
If not, where can I get cheep!! wallnutt husk for dyeing.
The stuff at the rondys cost way to much

I believe that the polishing medium is the crushed hard shells of the walnut. What you need to use for dyeing is the outer hull of the walnut. The thick green part that covers the shell.

sweet should I bring my pack basket and pick wild rice as well :haha:

Not much of it in my neck 'o the woods, but it is supposed to be a great year for the rice. I imagine I will see a bunch when I head up north next week.

There's a couple of big riceing areas up where I grew up.
