Does any one have any pictures they can share of vent picks holders located on the cheek section of a rifle or information on how they are installed.

Here's one I finished last year with a hand filed vent pick holder. Got it from MBS.

It has three arrowhead shaped appendages on the back. You simply stab them in with a chisel, and drive the inlay into place.

They look really nice, but I just never have had the need for a vent pick. I use Chamber's white lightnin' liners, and don't have to use them much.

They are a nice touch though, and the pick is there when you need it.
Hope this helps.

Dane thanks for the reply. great looking rifle !The information you gave me was just what I needed. The vent pick holder looks great

Same basic thing, I kinda copied MBS's, but I make mine from sterling silver, their's are nickel silver.
