Many moons ago, I had a TC vernier tang mounted peep sight coupled with globe front sight. The front globe had interchangeable inserts. The sights looked similar to some I've seen on Sharps rifles. I can no longer shoot well with open sights, even fiber optics. I have a Lyman 57 and a Williams and they work well-just don't look "right". Anybody know where i can get a sight set similar to the old TC setup?

Sounds like a job for Dixie Gun Works! They have all kinds of sights, fore & aft!! Think there's several of the globe front sights with more inserts than you'll use in a lifetime! :winking:

Tract of the Wolf has a lot of sights. Good luck trying to find a peep sight that looks right.
I got the long strap sight from Tract it don't look to bad. :winking: Rocky

Track has an assortment of Lyman globe front sights.

The TC vernier was discontinued, I got lucky and found one on ebay. Track has some similar ones made by Pedersoli but they are drilled a little longer (1.5 vs 1.25 in) at the base and the vernier is about an inch taller.
