Vertical Gun Racks

Not sure this is the right forum. Does anyone know where to buy VERTICAL gun racks? The type for rifles you see in the gun shops that sit on the floor. Also, VERTICAL pistol racks. Ready made, kits, or plans. Thanks.

i made up plans to make a vertical gun cabinet to hold my soon to be done 42" barreled .54 lancaster and at 58" long it won't fit in alot of factory made ones....ones made out of wood anyway....since it will be apart of my household i want it to look good too....ya can go that route too if ya are handy with wood :v ..............bob

I understand the Mosin problem, it's germinating here as well. The lost cost and seemingly endless supply of these rifles doesn't help.

I plan to make a colonial style rack for my front-loaders, it will be similar to the "Small Wall Rack" but a little finer finished. I've been looking at Colonial Williamsburg's (another image) magazine for inspiration. I think my long guns will be spaced a little closer together. I'll post pics when finished if anyone wants a look.

When this guy dies there will be a glut on the Mosin market (supposing he doesn't have a Viking funeral planned). Better sell yours now to take advantage of the temporary "high" prices. GC

WOW!!! Thanks guys for all the replys and the fun. Those pics give me a better idea of how to proceed. I guess if I'm ever in the market for a Mosin rifle this is the guy to see :haha: Anyway, thanks again for the responses. Rick.
