Vincennes has a Revolutionary war Reenactment.Thru Memorial weekend.I've never been there, but am going this time.I'll be weraing my CW kepi.

Went there last year and the year before. Interesting people. Artillery, jaegers, riflemen, redcoats, skedaddling yankees (if the term skedaddle has been coined). There were some original guns displayed and a fellow from the IN State Park system was demonstrating the building of a log cabin. BTW, they were out to welcome the troops back from the sandbox. The hand shaken lemonade is good too.

Went there 'bout 4 years ago, it was the first re-enactment I ever went to and it got me hooked.

Thats me, the one standing firing my very first smoke pole. And no, I wasn't aiming at the Brit officer, he's behind me. We were protraying Loyalist Militia!

Here's another cool shot of the British firing a volley.

A very fine event they put on, wonderful history about George Rogers Clark wading through the Wabash River and taking the British Fort with just over 100 men, he kept the men moving around and lighting more camp fires than they needed to trick the Brits into thinking he had hundreds out there.
Nice little town they got there too, real quiet.
