Hi,
I have checked the barrel over and over. The only marking other than vincent L Bryner, then .45 cal. with a circle and a stylized M with W over it.
The #8 is marked in the barrel channel.

Not sure what to tell you about re #8. He often worked on more than one at a time and it may be a part # of some kind. I am not familiar with the barrel markings you mentioned.
