I'll bet there was some gas leakage at the breech with that thing not to mention the weight. Can you say enveloped in smoke it would probably put a Hall to shame.

They appear to use a common chamber, so I'm guessing that they'd all fire if the gun itself fired. Fascinating piece of history. Now I want one! :rotf:

the center " barrel" houses the locking pin for the breech block. look closely at the pictures again. :thumbsup:
