Thinning out some of my lifelong accumulation of edged weapons, and thought they might be able to find a new good home with one of you wonderful people.

This sword is meant to be a replica of swords manufactured by McElroy in Macon, GA.
30” single-edged blade with acid etching, floral motif and “C.S.A.” In a wreath and star, in the center of blade
38” overall in scabbard
blued-steel scabbard with decorated brass throat, belt rings, and chape
brass hilt with “C.S.” in a star and wreath, and other decoration
twisted-wire-wrapped leather grip

I obtained this sword several years ago, and think it could make an excellent addition to a gentlemen from the South’s kit, or could look great hanging over the mantle.
