does any know where i can get a pattern for an 1830's waistcaot. i have cotton pants and a osenburg shirt. but i need a waistcaot (it's starting to get cold) preferably, the pattern would be free.

Unfortunately, I don't know of any patterns. I've drafted my own using an original tailoring manual. I could do the same for you, but it wouldn't be free, unfortunately.

 

how much do you think it would be. i'm just really not looknig at paying $15 for a pattern then having to buy the yardage.
