Hi all.
Here is the wallaby skin possibles bags I made prior to the Oct. rondy. The flap is the face of the animal including eye lashes and nose. The flap is held closed by 2 teddy bears' eye........ I shot this beastie with my percussion rifle from memory and tanned the skin myself earlier in the year.
It suddenly dawned on me :shake: that you folk up there in the Nthn. hemisphere may not know what a wallaby is so also attached is a photo of a wallaby I dropped with the Isaac Haines .40cal. They are small kangaroos native to Australia that were introduced in NZ in the late 1800's as game however bred themselves stupid so are now classes as pests.

Actually, they have quite soft fur. On those long mountain man nights I can always spoon my possibles bags for comfort...... ::
