Anybody have any use for walnut wood for calls or handles?
I cut up an old log outback the other day that had fell a couple years ago ( died and rotted off stump ) over only to find out it was walnut
It is cut about 16" long and is probably 16" - 18" inches in diamater
Will cut any size needed

Hi! Thanks for the offer but I have plenty of my own walnut. I'm sure someone on the forum could use some though; you could also get several pistol sized stocks out of that chunk. Emery

I'd love to have some. Just hop in the old pickup and run some of it down here to Mississippi. All kidding aside, I WOULD like to have some if it won't be too expensive to ship.

Any size, the bigger the better. Whatver's easiest for you.

Have you seen those commercials on TV about the U.S. Post Office's shipping boxes? You can ship up to 70 pounds fo a flat rate. We use them to send Joe a care package once in a while. How about a block that will fit one of those?

let me see if I can get a box
I also have one piece that is split up if anyone is interested
Some of the pieces are about 2" x 3" x 16" long
I did this to see how straight the grain was
