It worked great... Looked acceptable to the customer & that is what counted. I told him it would not be PC Correct, but I would try one & if he liked it OK & if not he didn't have to take it. He was pleased & I went on with it. It was that lock or a LH L&R & I was having issues with their locks at the time, & would not use another one of their locks. All in all it worked out well for both of us.

Yes Sir, I'm looking at doing something along those lines. Right now I'm being frugal and trying not to buy a new lock. I bet I can make this deluxe Siler work. Gonna get a stock blank and try my hand at inletting shaping that. While I've been making all my iron furniture for a while I've never done a total stock build. I've always used pre-carved stocks. Time for me to go all the way. Wish me luck. :thumbsup:
