We (Vikings) didn't deserve to go to the bowl with the way we played this year but at least we beat Packers two weeks ago! Sorry all you guys from Wisc! Ya beat us twice this year and we deserved to win this last one at Lambeau. :blah::crackup: :crackup:

Congrats to the Eagles and the Patriots. I am no brainchild but I had them picked for the bowl several weeks ago. Hey, they'll be playing in Tipi's backyard.

Aw, you guys who are fans of real football teams. I've been stuck with being a Detroit Lions fan for 45 years now. Know how many league championships they've won in that span? Zero. Zip. Nada. The Steelers won 15 games this year in the regular season. The Lions haven't won 15 games in the past three seasons put together. :cry:

I hear ya. Every Sunday the Vikes play, we have a houseful (6-16 people). We woop and hollar because we always score 30+ points, trouble is, we allow 31+ points. Defense? What's that? Oh well-maybe next year!

Smoked, Jon M: One, the Vikes beat the Lions twice this year, as I remember. The Vikings also beat Green Bay in the playoffs, and that one victory ties all the Lion playoff victories since the system started. Two, I grew up in downeast Maine and the Red Sox was the home team. I can remember back to Jimmy Foxx and when T. Williams was a rookie. Ferris Fain. Dom DiMaggio. I probably won't live long enough to see the Lions win the Super Bowl. I may try to reinstate my New England citizenship and cheer for the Pats. graybeard :shake:

Remember, the Cowboys didn't even exist the last time the Lions won the league championship.The Cowboys have been to the Super Bowl over and over again while the Lions have been rebuilding. I agree...the Red Sox fans had it much worse than any Cowboys fan have ever had. I was veeeery happy for the Red Sox fans this year. They deserved a win! I didn't realize that the Lions haven't been to the big one in so long. It'll be a great day for Lions fans when they do make it back.

Being an Eagles fan for many years I am happy to see them go to the superbowl this year. I am glad that TO is playing on the Eagles team this year. He makes alot of people worry. I worry about him catching the winning touchdown. I would really hate to see Andy Reed in tights. :crackup: I hope FredX or Westbrook or even Brian Dawkins takes it in. But please not TO. No tights PLEASE!!!!!!
