Barrel maker, crasftsman, local BP club member and nice fellow made his last relay I understand. I have a barrel of his in a special build, my sister now has that rifle over her fireplace, where it will reside for the rest of her life.....
I will miss this Kentucky rifle maker.

Wayne was a good friend and largely responsible for my getting into building barrels. This really hurts,he will be greatly missed.

I hate to hear this. Wayne built me one of his famous .48 Supermag barrels last year. I really enjoyed seeing him at the York and Round Bottom chunk gun matches.

He didn't get to shoot the Bill Large match at the JJJJ a few weeks ago due to cataract surgery and I had to miss Roundbottom last week so it's been a couple of months since I've seen him. He messaged me Tuesday and that was it. The news really shocked me. He will surely be missed around here.

According to his obituary, his funeral will be at 1:00 Tuesday at the Magoffin County Funeral Home in Salyersville, KY.
