Hey guys, long time no talk.. Just wanted to show off some of the goodies that have been keeping me busy and inside during this cold cold winter!

I spend about 2 to 8 hours daily on weaving and sewing. I find it has become a wonderful habit and brought me lots of joy!

Looks good on this end.

Also looks like there are different color schemes for different regions/personalities. I see SE US type colors, and also FIW colors.

I could also just be crazy. Probably definitely crazy.

Thanks for all the kind words! I love my new found hobby of weaving and have been super glad to let it supplement my living history hobby haha!

Did you make the bag? If so tell me more about it - leather, weight of the leather, stiching on the bag - etc, etc. Love the straps also.

My business partner (TravisB) sews the bags and I made the straps.
They are commercially tanned, completely hand stitched, 5-6oz leather and are fully lined. We specifically design them for black powder shooters, so there are a million pockets for everything a BP shooter needs on the inside. We mainly specialize in custom orders but have fun stock bags (like the one pictured).

I watched a lot of youtube to get started. There are some very talented weavers out there that make tons of videos.

I use 100% high end cotton or wool. I prefer cotton (better color selection, easier to weave).

Not intentionally. It definitely started so I could afford to vous. It just took on a mind of its own.

I use a Schatz inkle loom and also have 2 custom made inkle looms.

He means that you are making it clear to the members that you are SELLING your wares. It's a subtle form of advertising. :shake:

well, I'll give her a totally unsolicited plug. this lovely lady makes a very fine horn strap! :hatsoff:

I'm sorry, I guess I don't know what to do here. Several members know that I weave as a hobby and as part of a business. Should I just say my "friend" instead of business partner? I'm not trying to sell anything and if you notice, I don't sell stuff on the adverts page either. I use this forum for my own knowledge and education, and to see all the other cool stuff people are up to.

I am a loss for what you feel you need me to do?
