I saw some information on a rendevous and shoot in Wellsboro, PA (in the Endless Mountains) on August 16-20. My parents have a house in the next county over, so I may go to my first rendevous. Has anyone ever been to Wellsboro, and how was it? Anyone want to give some advice to a newbie?

Wellsboro is a few hrs north of me. I've been there a few times but not for a rondy. It is however a very nice , quaint town.Good food, and a couple of good gun shops, bought my oldest son's 1st deer rifle there. Beautiful country and the Little Grand Canyon is nearby. Wild eagle

Might be the Whispering Pines Rendezvous? Good shooting, not a bad little camp at all. Skippy Hamaker and company run it.

Yep, what ronny said. Me and Mrs RiverRat will be there, up above the tin teepis just before where the woods walk begins. Nice little rondy, look us up.

The "Pines" does put on a good rendezvous. This will be our 28th year. If anyone needs a flyer for the rendezvous or any information PM me your address and I will send you the info, or e-mail me at [email protected]
Modern or primitive camps, free wood and water and lots of shooting and trade session and a good time for all.
