What happened to Lyman Muzzleloaders?

I can't find Lyman muzzleloaders on the Lyman website. Very few Lyman MLs can be found at any website, period.
However, I have noticed that on the Davide Pedersoli website, they offer Lyman MLs as a "signature series", but at an increased price. There are a couple of other websites that sell Lyman MLs, but at the bottom of the page/ad it says, "by Pedersoli".

My question is: Did Lyman Products sell out their muzzleloader rifles to Pedersoli?

My Lyman GPR was made by Investarms. I’m pretty sure that all “Lyman” rifles are probably made in Italy.

It is my understanding that Lyman was having Pedersoli make their Plains rifle instead of investarms the last couple years. Now it seems Pedersoli isn’t making them anymore or can’t keep up. Assuming it’s another Covid problem.

Lyman did not make their rifles, they had them made by Italian companies. First Investment arms, then Pedersoli.

Now apparently, Lyman is back to sourcing the Great Plains Rifle from Investarms and Pedersoli isn't making the Signature Series.

About 6 weeks ago, Midway USA blew out their remaining stock of the Lyman/Pedersoli Signature Series GPR, and they are now discontinued on their site. Sale price on a flint kit was $480 and finished guns were under $600. Left hand in .50 caliber was a little less than $585. All listings are marked as discontinued. I check their site often, but I hate that I missed out on one of the kits.

Thanks for the replies, gentlemen! I had guessed as much, but wanted to check with others to make sure.
I've pretty much decided to buy a Pedersoli rifle. Possibly the Blue Ridge Rifle, unless I find a Kentucky Rifle at a reasonable price.

I was at a Cabelas today and seen a Pennsylvania Rifle, but it was in horrible condition, for a new rifle. Apparently, that rifle has been in the store for a few years and had been dropped SEVERAL times. The stock had so many marks, gouges and scratches in the finish that there's NO WAY it would leave the store without a serious discount. At $929, they'd have to knock off $150 or more or I wouldn't buy it. The stock would have to be sanded down, refinished and restained before I'd even shoot it.
The employees said that since Bass Pro bought them, they have to put the guns away, every night. They just dump them in a shopping cart and push them in the back, until the next day.

Most would agree if a GPR type was totally USA Made with all USA parts, and made right, the quality in craftsmanship and workmanship should far exceed the quality found in Pedersoli or Investarms. Pedersoli's list price for the Pedersoli Missouri River Hawken, similar to the GPR, is $1,695. Midway has 3 left in stock at $1,694.99, and they don't have a problem getting that price from someone who really wants one as they sell quite a few every year when they can get them. Just a month or so ago, they had about a dozen in stock. Budk has the Pedersoli Missouri River Hawken in stock for $1,678.99, and Muzzle-loaders.com has them in stock for $1,649. Last in-stock prices were $100 to $150 cheaper from other sources, but none are in stock. A good quality kit with a plain jane walnut or maple stock and all USA Made parts would more than likely be in the $1,200 - $1,400 ballpark, with a lot of work still ahead. One could base an estimated price for a U.S. manufacturer to make them here in the States off of what T/C was selling their Hawken for prior to discontinuing production in 2012, they were bumping or at $750 to $799 at that time. What $800 would buy in 2012, would cost you $1,018 today when adjusted for inflation.

I feel like the demand for the style of guns has went up and the availability has went down. In turn the prices have went really high for for a factory gun.

I was on the phone today with Lyman regarding a product recall, and the guy said they were in the process of phazing out all muzzle loader products!
