What I want is the smallest, lightest deer rifle I can have and I want powder, caps and other stuff to work on my pistols too.
This rifle i am leaving as is. I have a .54 Pedersolie but I want even smaller for backpacking.
Will a Seneca in .45 be as powerful as a regular size .45 cal Hawkin? I want a one rifle arsenal. I can buy everything to make a .45 Seneca but it's going to run about $700.
Should i just stay with my .54 cal Pedersolie and suck it up and buy two powders, caps ect.
This Senica dont hold the ramrod in very well. Is the spring or detent missing that puts pressure on the ramrod or did it not get made with that feature?
Hate saying this but when i go .45cal I want a wad cuter type bullet.
