Received my Quaker stock from Jim Kibler today. I'll be using it for the upcoming carving class held at western Kentucky University. This stock a lot of very even curl. It seems too nice to just practice on. Maybe I can make it half stock rifle or shotgun with it later. I also ordered the chisels and gouges for the class today.

I have a Quaker stock for the Woodsrunner. Haven’t had time to fool with it yet as I’m doing another build. Good luck with yours.

I think the second one is a better design. It has a thicker skirt.

Thought I gave you some of those.???

Finished fitting and finishing my “new” ramrod. See my post “WelI I did it” if you don’t know the rest of the story.

Shot my J Garner smooth rifle flintlock. Had it awhile but not really very familiar with it. Had about fifty percent ignitions because of the flint. Had to fool with it every shot. It did seem to shoot about the same with the ball patched or not.
