Thanks Tyler.Beautiful
Altoids boxes are cheaper and they come with altoidsPicked up these little tins off amazon, good for patches, char cloth and many other items. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08CV94DNJ?psc=1&ref=product_details
I’ve bought those before and they work quite well. They’re large enough to hold a flint and steel plus char cloth and some tinder. They have some round ones too with a screw on lid. I keep punk wood char in those. They seal well enough to put out any lingering embers.Picked up these little tins off amazon, good for patches, char cloth and many other items. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08CV94DNJ?psc=1&ref=product_details

Every time you describe one of your trips to camp I just want to run away from home.Packed for camp and ready to head out early tomorrow. Got some beef smokies for supper tomorrow night, and lots of buffalo jerky to snack on. Coffee and bacon for breakfast.
I did that with my first plank build. A capper. I see it given the "no no" treatment but it was suggested to me by a reputable builder so I did it. Working fine still. Gonna do the same thing when I build my SMR fainter.I made a fire channel on the breech plug of my Fusil de Chasse to improve ignition.
That does help, polish it smooth, that way you don't have a lot of buildup of fouling...I made a fire channel on the breech plug of my Fusil de Chasse to improve ignition.
Yes, I did polish it to a smooth finish before reassembly. Heading to the range tomorrow to give it a try! That does help, polish it smooth, that way you don't have a lot of buildup of fouling...
