I is curious. What side do you wear your horn and hunting pouch on? I wear my hunting pouch on my right side (I'm right handed) and wear a horn on my right for flintlocks and left for percussion. I prefer the horn on my left where it is out of the way of pouch and knife handles, but it is awkward to prime a right-hand pan from a left hanging horn. I have been noticing that original horns seem almost evenly split between left and right curve (just the way the cows grow them), and there are few left handed locks surviving.

I'm right-handed.

Horn and shooting bad - Right Side.
Haversack - Left Side
Knife - Left Front
Hawk - Right Rear
Just curious....was "shooting BAD" a fruedian slip? :hmm:

I just looked at my picture to the left.....horn and bag-rt.
haversack-left
(long)knife-left
Hawk-under haversack

Right handed, right sided...

Mostly use powder flasks, so they go either way...

Hunting bag-right side, powder flask inside the bag.
Hawk at the small of my back.
Knife also right side, due to decades of carrying Swiss Army knife on my right side.
Haversack/game pouch rides on my left side.
