What style bag for Kentucky rifle?

Of my various bags, this is the one I find myself using 90% of the time, hunting with my Kentucky style rifles.......Leatherman.

Looking at what little testimonial info we have from old times , the shooting pouch choice is whatever the gun owner/user preferred. Taking lotsa stuff on an extended trip , required more room. Perhaps a 3" all around gusset. Larger pouch for shotgun/smooth bore. Smaller day-use shot pouch , might be , heart shaped w/ no gusset , so balls lived in the point at the bottom. The options are endless and, personal preference. Jim Webb's book of drawings of original shot pouches , kinda tells it like it was. One sure thing, each gun had it's own pouch , as anyone using several calibers knows , having to change the contents of one pouch around to accommodate a different gun is a PITA.....................oldwood
