Hey yall what's the difference between l&r Queen Anne and l&r early flint? I have a queen Ann that fits a tad shy within the inletting on a pecatonica fusil stock...trade gun build, any lock recommendations based on dimensions?

I don't see an early flint on the L&R site . . so it's hard to say. Queen Anne is a large lock with a round face and very different style from the German inspired locks like their late model or their classic, or a siler. If you're asking about the difference between the lock plate size for your inlet, someone else may chime in. I don't know how different a Queen Ann lock plate is from another large lock.
