which nipple

I see so many different after market nipples available, I'm curious which ones you guys prefer? I'm shooting a TC Renegade with real black.

I started using a spitfire nipple and I have had no missfires with it yet. I like it a lot.

I never had any problems with the Hot Shot nipples.

When I am shooting real BP in my .50 percussion Renegades, I use (and and have had no problems with) the standard T/C nipples. A long time ago, when I could only get Pyrodex, I was forced to use Hot Shot nipples.

i use "ampco nipples i fined they last longer than all the rest, and i never get misfires.

greetings snuffer,

kinda like the 'hotshot' nipples, they have two small vent holes on the side of the nipple that 'blows' the cap loose on firing. no more trying to dig a fired cap off the nipple. they just fall off.

really helps on lite target loads..

I went to using Hot Shot nipples way back.....I don't even remember when. Never have used anything else. Why fix it if it ain't broke. Uncle Mike makes a good nipple. Hot shot!!!
